Pictured is Operator-in-Training Mya Solomon utilizing the plant’s SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system to monitor current treatment plant and water distribution system conditions. The SCADA system provides real-time operational data, allowing operators to observe system performance, track water production, monitor tank levels, and respond quickly to changing conditions.
Hands-on experience with the SCADA system is an essential part of operator training, helping new staff develop the skills needed to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient delivery of drinking water to the community. Through continuous monitoring and operational awareness, operators play a critical role in maintaining the high standards of service provided by Rockdale Water Resources.
