Eric Townsend, Operations Manager, has taken on the challenge of giving the Rockdale Water Resources spoil yard a much-needed makeover.
Over time, the spoil yard had become crowded with old manholes and various materials from the Distribution and Collection systems. Trees and vegetation had also begun to take over portions of the property, making it difficult to maintain and properly utilize the area.
Recognizing the need for improvement, Eric stepped up to lead the cleanup and transformation of the spoil yard. The project includes clearing overgrown trees and vegetation, removing and organizing accumulated materials, and creating a cleaner, safer, and more functional space for RWR operations.
This makeover is about more than improving the appearance of the property. A well-maintained spoil yard provides better access to materials, improves safety for employees and equipment, and allows the area to be used more efficiently.
The transformation is already giving the area a fresh start and demonstrates what can be accomplished when our team identifies an opportunity for improvement and takes action.
From Overgrown to Organized — The Spoil Yard Is Getting a Fresh Start!
Rockdale Water Resources would like to recognize Eric Townsend for taking the initiative to lead this project and for his continued commitment to improving our facilities and operations.
Stay tuned as we share the progress and the final transformation!
