Maintenance Coordinator George Archer and Maintenance Technician Yohance Spearman demonstrated exceptional safety awareness and professionalism this week by successfully removing a large wasp nest from a SolarBee® solar-powered circulation panel. The SolarBee unit, vital for maintaining water circulation and quality at the facility, was discovered during a routine inspection to have an active wasp nest attached to its exterior. The presence of the nest posed a potential hazard to both equipment performance and staff safety. Thanks to their quick action and adherence to safety protocols, the team safely eliminated the risk—ensuring uninterrupted operation and reinforcing our commitment to a safe and efficient workplace.
