Report Water Outage

At Rockdale Water Resources, serving our community goes beyond providing safe and reliable water services. Sometimes, it means lending a helping hand to those who need it most—even our four-legged friends.

Yesterday, RWR employees discovered a stranded dog wandering in the yard. After carefully assessing the situation and determining that the dog was friendly and harmless, the team took immediate steps to help reunite her with her family.

Maria Flint took a photo of the dog and shared it on the local Next door community platform in hopes that someone would recognize her (In which someone did). While caring for the dog, employees noticed that she was wearing an identification tag. Using the information on the tag, they were able to contact the owner directly.

Eric Townsend and Richard Davis also played an important role in ensuring Josie remained safe and cared for while efforts were made to locate her owner. Their assistance and teamwork helped make the successful reunion possible.

Thanks to the quick thinking, compassion, and teamwork of Maria Flint, Eric Townsend, and Richard Davis, Josie and her mom were happily reunited within a short time.

This heartwarming story is a reminder that small acts of kindness can make a big difference. We are proud of our employees for going above and beyond to help a lost pet safely return home.

Way to go, Team RWR!
