When an unexpected water line break occurs, teamwork, experience, and quick action make all the difference.
A contractor recently struck a water line near 1238 Rockbridge Road, requiring an immediate response from the Rockdale Water Resources (RWR) crew.
Upon arriving at the site, our crew quickly assessed the situation and began working to locate the damaged section of the line. Despite the challenging conditions that can come with an emergency water line repair, the team worked diligently and safely to make the necessary repairs and restore the line as efficiently as possible.
The photos from the repair site highlight the hard work that often takes place behind the scenes to keep our water system operating. From excavation and locating the damaged line to completing the repair and preparing the area for restoration, our crews remained focused on getting the job done.
Water line emergencies can happen without warning, but RWR crews are prepared to respond when our community needs them.
We would like to recognize our crew members for their hard work, dedication, and teamwork during this repair. Their efforts help ensure that Rockdale County residents and businesses continue to receive dependable water service.
We also appreciate the patience and understanding of customers who may have experienced temporary service interruptions while the repair was underway.
Thank you to our Rockdale Water Resources team for another job well done!
