Rockdale County, GA — Employees of the Rockdale County Water Treatment Plant Division came together this month to show their support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Dressed in pink and united in purpose, the team posed for a group photo to honor survivors, remember those lost to the disease, and raise awareness about the importance of early detection.
Plant Division Manager Vernoy Murray expressed pride in his team’s participation, noting that the gesture reflects the department’s strong sense of community and compassion.
“Our employees are dedicated not only to providing safe, clean drinking water for Rockdale County but also to standing together for causes that affect so many families,” said Murray.
October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time when communities across the nation come together to support ongoing research, promote regular screenings, and remind loved ones to take charge of their health.
