Report Water Outage

“No Trespassing” signs at Jack Turner Dam and Reservoir are in place to protect drinking water, the environment, and public safety. Unauthorized activities, including fishing and hunting, can introduce bacteria, chemicals, and sediment that impact water quality and make treatment more difficult. This protected area also supports sensitive ecosystems, and limiting access helps preserve wildlife habitats and prevent erosion and environmental damage. As an active utility site, the dam has hidden hazards such as sudden water level changes, slippery surfaces, and steep terrain. The Water Supply Division takes a proactive role in monitoring and maintaining this critical infrastructure to ensure a safe and reliable water supply. For these reasons, fishing and hunting are prohibited. By respecting these restrictions, you help safeguard a vital resource for Rockdale County.
