Each month, a state-required split-sample fluoride test is conducted to ensure the accuracy and reliability of our water quality monitoring. This process involves analyzing a sample in-house while simultaneously sending a portion of the same sample to the Georgia Public Health Laboratory in Waycross, GA.
The laboratory performs an independent analysis and compares its results with ours to verify consistency. Once testing is complete, the results are provided and used as part of our annual fluoride audit, helping to maintain compliance and uphold the highest standards of water quality for our community.
