Denita Burton oversees the day-to-day operations of Customer Service, Billing, Collections, Meter Readings, and the Call Center for Rockdale Water Resources. She is committed to serving Rockdale County residents and strengthening the services they rely on.
Denita brings more than 12 years of water industry experience with the City of Atlanta. There, she led work involving budget management, meter purchases and installations, construction projects, Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), and Utility Revenue Management (URM).
Known for her collaborative leadership, Denita builds strong partnerships and brings teams together to advance complex projects. Her experience in financial strategy, operational efficiency, organizational growth, and risk management supports her focus on dependable service and continued improvement.
Outside of work, Denita enjoys watching college football and bowling.
