Brine tanks are used to create a concentrated salt solution by combining water with undried solar salt. As the salt dissolves, a continuous brine solution is produced and fed into the sodium hypochlorite generator. Inside the generator, electrolysis occurs, converting the brine into sodium hypochlorite.
The resulting sodium hypochlorite solution is then continuously applied to finished drinking water to provide effective disinfection, ensuring the water delivered to our community is safe, reliable, and meets all regulatory standards.
