Pictured here is one of Rockdale County Water Treatment Plant’s air compressor units. It takes in air, compresses it, and stores it under pressure for use when needed. Compressed air can help operate valves, power controls, and support equipment used throughout the treatment process.
While air compressors do not directly clean or filter water, they help keep essential treatment equipment working properly and processes running smoothly.
Our certified Water Treatment Operators monitor equipment throughout the plant to identify potential issues and help keep treatment systems operating as intended.
