Rockdale County Water Resources was pleased to host the 2026 Citizens Academy class at the Water Treatment Plant. Upon arrival, participants were welcomed with refreshing snacks and special giveaways before sitting down for an informative presentation about the county’s water treatment operations.
The presentation encouraged an engaging discussion, with participants asking many thoughtful questions that were answered by Water Resources staff. Following the presentation, the class received a guided tour of the treatment plant, providing an up-close look at the processes used to deliver safe, reliable drinking water to the Rockdale County community.
It was a wonderful opportunity to educate, connect, and share the important work performed each day by Rockdale County Water Resources.
