Whom It May Concern:
Rockdale Water Resources will temporarily interrupt water service on Friday, July 24, 2026, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., weather permitting.
If inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances prevent the work from being completed on Friday, the service interruption will be rescheduled for Monday, July 27, 2026, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
This planned interruption is necessary to replace a fire hydrant and install a hydrant isolation valve. Approximately 30 homes on Salem Mill Trail SE and Salem Court SE will be affected.
To ensure positive control of the water system before the scheduled work, Rockdale Water Resources will conduct a 2–5-minute test shutdown on Thursday, July 23, 2026, between 10:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Customers in the affected area may experience a brief interruption in water service during this test.
