Report Water Outage

(770) 278-7500

Lab Coordinator Jeff Cawley verifies the temperature of all Disinfection Byproducts (DBP) samples prior to their delivery to the Georgia EPD Laboratory in Norcross. To maintain sample integrity and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, DBP samples must be stored and transported at 6°C (42.8°F) or below.

Rockdale Water Resources maintains an annual contract with the Georgia Environmental Protection Division Laboratory for the analysis of DBP samples. Following the completion of laboratory testing, analytical results are transmitted to the Rockdale Water Resources Laboratory, where they are reviewed, documented, and retained for regulatory compliance, reporting, and recordkeeping purposes.

This process helps ensure that drinking water quality monitoring requirements are met and that all applicable state and federal regulations are maintained.
