Dear Customer,
Rockdale Water Resources will be performing critical water system improvements that will require a temporary interruption of water service.
Scheduled Service Interruption
Date: Tuesday, June 2, 2026
Time: 8:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Weather Permitting
If inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances prevent the work from being completed as scheduled, the interruption will be rescheduled for:
Alternate Date: Thursday, June 4, 2026
Time: 8:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Purpose of the Interruption
This temporary service interruption is necessary to:
- Replace a fire hydrant
- Install a new isolation valve
- Replace a 10-inch water main valve
Areas Affected
Water service may be temporarily interrupted for customers located along:
- Old Covington Highway SW
- McDaniel Mill Road SW
- Smyrna Road SW
