The 2026 State Water Model Tower Competition was an exciting and inspiring event, bringing together some of the brightest middle school minds from across Georgia to showcase their creativity, engineering skills, and understanding of water systems. Students were challenged to design and construct model water towers that could effectively store water while meeting height, stability, and efficiency requirements. Judges evaluated each project based on design, functionality, structural integrity, and overall innovation.

Rockdale County was proudly represented by our 1st place county winner, Memorial Middle School, and our 2nd place county winner, General Ray Davis Middle School. Both teams demonstrated outstanding effort, teamwork, and problem-solving skills throughout the competition, representing our community with excellence and pride.

While we did not place at the state level this year, the experience was invaluable. Our students gained hands-on learning, engaged with real-world engineering concepts, and competed alongside top-performing schools from across the state. We are incredibly proud of their hard work and dedication.

We look forward to building on this experience and coming back even stronger next year!
