Report Water Outage

(770) 278-7500

Rockdale Water Resources will be conducting smoke testing of the sanitary sewer system in the Millstone Manor and Wheat Valley Cir areas on April 14. All testing activities are expected to be completed within one day.

This effort is part of our ongoing program to identify deficiencies within the wastewater system, including leaks, breaks, and improper connections, to support system reliability and regulatory compliance.

Notification Request
Please assist with notifying and posting this information through your respective channels so that residents, staff, and all concerned parties are aware and informed in advance.

What to Expect
During testing, a non-toxic, non-staining smoke will be introduced into the sewer system. Residents may see smoke coming from roof vents, manholes, or the ground, which is normal and expected.

If smoke enters a home or structure, it is typically due to plumbing issues such as dry drain traps or faulty seals. The smoke is safe and poses no health risk. Residents can reduce the likelihood of this by running water in unused sinks, tubs, and floor drains prior to testing.

Coordination
Fire departments and emergency management personnel are being notified to prevent unnecessary emergency responses during the testing period.

Rockdale Water Resources staff and contractors will be onsite and available to address any questions or concerns.

The HOA will be notifying residents and RWR has distributed door tags to each home.
