The 2025 Rivers Alive cleanup events were an incredible success, showcasing the dedication and teamwork of Rockdale County departments and partners. This year’s collaboration between Rockdale Water Resources, Parks and Recreation, Stormwater, Code Enforcement, Public Relations, R-DOT/CIT, and Keep Conyers–Rockdale Beautiful (KCRB) demonstrated the true spirit of community stewardship.
The November 1 cleanup at Lakeview Estates in Lake Rockaway, held in partnership with the Georgia Association of Water Professionals (GAWP), delivered outstanding results — collecting 92 bags of litter, 20 tires, one bucket of paint, approximately 150 pounds of debris, and even one abandoned boat. These efforts reflect Rockdale County’s ongoing commitment to protecting our waterways and keeping our community clean, safe, and beautiful.
